POSITION SUMMARY:

The nature of this position is oriented toward providing internal and external Treasury Management clients with an unparalleled level of service.  The position requires an in-depth working technical knowledge of all treasury management products, services, and systems.  While the majority of client interaction will be via phone, this position will include onsite client calls as necessary.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years Treasury Mgmt/Commercial banking experience
  • Ability to identify, problem solve and exercise good judgement with respect to issues and circumstances as they arise
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A team-oriented individual with organizational and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Flexibility and strong initiative to coordinate multiple or changing products
  • Position requires the need to work varied hours/days including occasional overtime as business dictates.  May need to travel to other branch locations
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Client Service - Provide superior customer service to First Midwest external and internal clients.  Maintain in-depth knowledge and technical expertise of all treasury management products & services in order to effectively communicate, troubleshoot, and otherwise meet the needs of our clients.   Coordinate with internal partners to ensure on-time delivery of client requests. Ensure that all client inquiries are handled with a high degree of courtesy, respect, professionalism and accuracy.
  • Sales Support –Provide direct support to the Treasury Management staff and handles administrative responsibilities, ensures all maintenance requests are entered into the appropriate systems in a timely and accurate manner, answers and services client phone calls, client emails and performs various projects as assigned. Provide support to Treasury Management Implementation Specialist during the onboarding process.
  • Client Relationship Management – This team has regular contact with clients regarding questions/issues relating to Treasury Management products/services and has a one-call resolution as a top priority.  Assist with driving new sales opportunities by identifying additional needs during client interactions and appropriately referring these opportunities.
  • Joint Calling- Joint sales or service calls with Treasury Management as needed.
  • Reports-Prepares statistical reports and other information as needed or requested.
