POSITION SUMMARY:

Senior level sales professional to design and sell customized treasury management solutions for mid to large size businesses.  Provide team members with functional guidance.  Serve as a financial partner and advisor for business leaders in the community.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, a MBA preferred
  • 7 years treasury management sales experience
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
  • Sales expertise required
  • Strong analytical ability required.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Position may require the need to travel to other branch or meeting locations in Illinois 
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Independently solicit and develop new account relationships through an aggressive calling and outreach program.
  • Sell treasury management products and services to established corporate customers and prospects through an active joint sales calling program with the commercial banking teams.
  • Generate individual budgeted sales goals for deposits, business service charges, and other fee income line items as specified
  • Lead assigned market growth and development through treasury management sales
  • Actively participate in the sales planning process.
  • Maintain effective cross selling activities.
  • Develop and maintain referral networks with appropriate industry contacts and centers of influence.
  • Partner closely with Treasury Management Analysts ensuring they are trained, motivated and supported properly to achieve sales goals.
  • Be an active learner and gain in-depth working knowledge of all treasury management products and services.  
  • Drive the creative solution development and implementation with internal partners.
  • Strive to be informed about current developments in the treasury management industry.
  • Prepare monthly sales and production reports.
  • Develop and deliver thought leadership content at sales and team meetings.
  • Participate in community activities, trade associations and other organizations to promote FMB brand.
  • Maintain a leadership or “high visibility” role outside the company.
