Part-time Quality Assurance Specialist

FT/PT:  Part-Time

Quality Assurance Specialists is responsible for maintaining accurate consumer loan applications and files in accordance with bank approval and regulatory guidelines.

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 3 years of consumer lending experience, primarily loan preparation or review experience
  • Knowledge of bank policy and federal regulations preferred
  • Prior experience using Laser Pro, FIS, CRIF, Lotus Notes and exception tracking systems a plus
  • Strong PC Skills including Word and Excel required
  • Good time management skills resulting in accurate, quality output
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and issues
  • Position requires the need to work varied hours/days including occasional overtime as business dictates.  May need to travel to other branch locations


  • Review consumer loan applications to ensure all are complete and accurate, consistent with terms and conditions of lending approval, in compliance with federal and state regulations (Reg B, TRID, e-sign act) and distributed according to established service level agreements
  • Responsible for reviewing accurate HMDA data entry on all loan application received
  • Review CRIF queues on a daily basis to ensure that all applications are moved appropriately to avoid any Compliance or Regulatory violation
  • Ensure any necessary and critical changes which require re-disclosure have been accurately notated and confirmed within the CRIF database for compliance purposes
  • Track quality control findings and provide feedback to Retail Management
  • Communicate with bankers, as to the appropriate documentation needed to clear application exceptions
  • Respond to department specific questions; research and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain communication with loan officers on status updates and/or changes to the loan file as needed
  • Participate and successfully complete all required training
  • Maintain adequate controls to ensure compliance with consumer protection statutes/regulations in a defined area of responsibility
