POSITION SUMMARY:

The position will review new loans and record all documentations exception on One Point.  Assist Commercial and Consumer banking staff in clearing exceptions.  Record all applicable documentation to perfect FMB lien.  Assist Commercial and Consumer banking staff, attorneys, other financial institution, title companies and Customer Service with release request.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Good organizational skills
  • PC adaptable for using multi specialized software
  • Data entry experience required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attend and pass required banking classes
  • Position requires the need to work varied hours/days including occasional overtime as business dictates.  May need to travel to other branch locations

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review for appropriately signed and required documentation for Consumer post funded loans
  • Monitor and clear all exceptions for existing and new loans
  • Assist Commercial and Consumer Banking staff in clearing exceptions
  • Work with county recorders, attorneys, title companies, Secretary of State to acquire required documentation to secure our loans
  • Appropriately release all documentation on all researched paid loans and other requests from lenders
  • Maintain appropriate notes on Notepad and One Point
  • Assist with daily department filing/imaging and indexing of all booked notes and subsequent related documents, renewals, lock and unlock request, etc
  • Cross train with the department servicing all loan files
  • Participate in all required training sessions for compliance
  • Maintain adequate controls to ensure compliance with consumer protection statutes/regulations in a defined are of responsibility
  • Implement bank directed policy and changes relating to regulatory amendments.
