Executive & Equity Compensation Consultant

FT/PT:  Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Vice President, Compensation, this role will be responsible for the administration of the Company’s equity compensation plans, along with providing support in the area of Executive Compensation.  This position will provide analysis on market data and trends, along with providing support for the creation of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    BS/BA in Business, Finance or Accounting  
    3-5 years of experience in compensation and/or stock administration with a publicly traded company or equivalent experience that exhibits the ability to perform critical functions of position
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and project management skills  
    Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
    Ability to prioritize and handle several projects in a fast paced environment  
    Highly self-motivated, detail oriented with strong organizational skills  
 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executive Compensation:  
    Prepare and provide data for the Company’s annual proxy statement
    Prepare detailed analysis of the company’s target pay compared to both internal and external data sources
    Provide analytical support on the design and delivery of all executive compensation programs
    Assist with the preparation of all required public disclosures related to Executive Compensation
    Assist in the creation of all materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors
    Build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels within the Company 
    Serve as an expert in all areas of Executive Compensation 
    Prepare and update performance metric analysis for long-term and short-term incentive compensation plans 
    Partner in administration of year-end compensation planning process


Stock Plan Administration:  
    Lead the administration of the Company’s equity compensation plans including processing of all equity award activity in the Company’s administration system 
    Prepare participant award communications and educational material
    Produce and analyze all reports for period end expense, share dilution, tax, and accounting
    Assist with SEC and other regulatory compliance activities including: equity award disclosures for 10-Q, 10-K, and annual proxy; SOX 404 compliance and testing; and SFAS 123R reporting
    Prepare equity related financial forecasts and weighted average share dilution computations  
    Recommend and initiate appropriate policies and procedures to facilitate efficient stock administration
    Serve as resident expert related to the administration of equity awards and ensure data integrity, input and maintenance of database, including upgrades and enhancements
