Banking Financial Analyst I

FT/PT:  Full-Time


Junior level Financial Analyst role for projecting and analyzing Retail Banking goals quarterly, ensuring the integrity of the incentive database that will be used to track Personal Banker, CBR, Teller, Retail Branch Management and Mortgage performance results, ensuring incentives are paid and produce campaign management reports to support branch and channel incentives.

Individual will be responsible for the data integrity as it relates to goal setting, scorecards, incentives and reports. This includes quarterly goal setting, collecting and tracking exceptions for the incentive programs and paying monthly and/or quarterly incentive for multiple incentive programs. The position interfaces with Risk Management, Marketing, Human Resources and Application Technology Group in the collection of data and ensuring the accuracy for Help Metrics, scorecards and household report. This position will be responsible for working with Retail Executive and Senior Management to project quarterly goals for all of Retail Banking including: Branch, Group, Region and total Retail.  This position will report to the Retail Sales Support Manager.


  1. 2 + years financial analyst experience or equivalent work experience required;
  2. Bachelor’s degree in business (or related field) or equivalent work experience required;
  3. High Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Access, Word, and demonstrated skills with PowerPoint are required;
  4. Demonstrated skills in report writing required;
  5. Analytical skills and ability to review multiple reports and provide a summary;
  6. Possess and applies comprehensive problem solving abilities;
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required;
  8. Ability to make sound decisions;
  9. Strong interpersonal skills;
  10. Banking experince preferred


  1. Interface with the IT to ensure integrity of incentive database as it relates to Scorecards and metrics reporting. Responsibilities include tracking exceptions, updating new hires and termed employees and communicating adjustments to Retail Scorecard criteria and incentive payouts.
  2. Project, analyze and interface Management on quarterly goals for all of Retail Banking including: Banker, Branch, Group, Region.
  3. Managing the ongoing adjustments of the goal setting methodology. This includes making adjusts as positions change within the branch network.
  4. Update and maintain the database. Work with HR and Group Managers to ensure accuracy with employees. Track new hires, transfers, FMLA to ensure accuracy with employees moving into and between positions.
  5. Collect, organize and deliver reports for incentive, contests, and facilitate payouts in support branch and channel sales areas and deliver scorecard ranking reports monthly, quarterly and annually.
  6. Track the Scorecard Exceptions process to ensure validity to the exceptions.
  7. Maintain the documentation of the Incentive Compensation Plans by position within the Retail Bank (branch network and channel).
  8. Analyze CSP reports and data to ensure program effectiveness.
  9. Develop household reports to support sales management.
  10. Analyze referral results and maintain the Referral Process for Retail and communication between lines of business.
  11. Facilitate the payout of multiple incentive programs including Retail, Mortgage and Channel.
  12. Provide monthly and quarterly analytical sales trending reports with ranking reports and top performers to sales managers and colleagues within RSA.
  13. Support Enterprise Performance Management as needed.
  14. Maintain the Retail Incentive email inbox.
