Digital Marketing Expert

FT/PT:  Full-Time

The Digital Specialist is responsible for developing and driving digital marketing campaigns and strategies that meet and/or exceed business objectives and provide additional insight about our customers across all digital channels. As a digital marketer, your job will be to help design and execute digital marketing campaigns using various tools and strategies. This role will work collaboratively across solutions and be a key player in driving digital marketing performance. You will be joining a growing team of marketers who are tasked with generating awareness and capturing qualified inbound leads. To perform well in this position, you’ll need to use the available digital marketing tools to expand the automation practices and generate qualified leads for a variety of First Midwest Products and Services.


  • 3+ year experience in Advertising, Demand Generation or Campaign Management
  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven work experience in digital marketing in an enterprise preferably financial services with B2B and/or B2C experience
  • Must have working knowledge of Sales Force
  • Must have excellent analytical skills and be familiar with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience in running SalesForce Marketing Cloud campaigns and social campaigns on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIN using Social Studio
  • Experience in Agile Marketing Methodologies and Sprint Execution
  • Must be willing to work hard in a fast pace environment.
  • Experience in digital creative planning, development and execution
  • Ability to think strategically and deliver against business objectives
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Strong work ethic, highly responsive and dedicated to program results
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of special projects
  • Embraces change with creativity and innovation
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a must
  • HTML skills desired



  • Creates compelling marketing programs to drive revenue and sales in support of business objectives.
  • Plans, manages and executes all marketing database, email, social media, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies and provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and vendor partners to achieve desired results.
  • Work with business and communication teams to plan and implement omni-channel digital marketing plans across web, SEO, SEM, display/retargeting and paid social
  • Leverage marketing automation platform to execute lead nurturing Programs
  • Plan, manage and support email marketing campaigns that grow retention and drive up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop, analyze and report on A/B and multivariate tests to optimize campaign performance and deliver on program goals
  • Conduct ongoing content, keyword and URL audits to improve user and search engine relevancy of key pages
  • Work with Analytics team to deep-dive into web, campaign and traffic data - report on weekly performance updates, project hindsight and opportunities to develop into future plans
  • Utilize various social media platforms to support campaign objectives for promotion, lead generation and engagement – particularly LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Manage project initiatives from conception to completion, including budget management, deadline management and implementation
