Auditor, Staff

FT/PT:  Full-Time

Your office location is flexible to many of our offices throughout Chicago land, suburbs, and northern Indiana.

Perform control testing within various internal audits as well as special reviews/projects within the Bank to determine compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations.  This position will report to the Audit Services Manager and be a member of the Risk Management Department.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of audit experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Detail oriented, accurate and organized
  • Prior SOX 404 experience preferred
  • Acquisition and Due Diligence experience preferred
  • Knowledge of banking procedures preferred
  • Ability to travel in the Chicago land area about 25% of the time

  • Conduct and document internal audits in accordance with work programs and assist the Internal Audit Services Provider
  • Analyze and compile audit findings. Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for improvement
  • Perform SOX 404 control testing  
  • Assist external auditors  in the execution of their test procedures
  • Assist the Audit Services Manager with special projects as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
