Leadership, Exploration and Development (LEAD) Rotational Program

First Midwest’s LEAD program offers an opportunity to experience challenging rotational assignments throughout multiple departments.  You’ll broaden your knowledge of our culture, better understand how the organization works, and ultimately develop and prepare future leaders for a successful career.

Our LEAD program is an 18-24 month commitment.  Participants will be exposed to First Midwest’s products, services and processes, while simultaneously making valuable contributions in preparation for a career opportunity in their respective track. 

Upon successful completion of the program, potential placement includes a variety of professional roles in the analytical, sales and client services areas.

Internship Program

Our Internship Program provides a valuable professional and practical experience in financial services.  From the moment you become a First Midwest colleague, you will be a vital member of the team.  Your focus will be on meaningful work assignments and gain insights into our culture and business. 

Throughout the 10-week program, you will participate in relevant technical training and other development courses.  You will work closely with colleagues to meet the business objectives and priorities defined by your specific line of business.
